KC Concepcion: Pop of Pink

KC Concepcion makes looking fresh-faced so effortless! Add a fun, little twist to this gorgeous dewy look with a subtle draped blush for a playful yet sophisticated spin on daily glam! Ready to cop this look?

1. While this cushion leans more on the high-end side, it gives much more than your average cushion. Aside from its medium coverage and beautiful demi-matte finish, it’s infused with dahlia variabilis extract and EcoCert organic oils that nourish your skin-plus it has SPF! To use, simply push down to dispense the product onto the pad and pat evenly all over the face. Build up as needed!

2. Because our foundation really puts the “ooh” in “dewy,” those with oiler skin may feel the need to set with powder. Take a fluffy powder brush and sweep all over! We love this little compact from Chihuahua especially because it’s so easy to bring around; no need to worry about bringing around a clunky compact for retouching with this effective miniature product!

3. In this look, KC’s brows are immaculate! Get perfectly carved out arches with this sculpting palette from Rimmel that comes with both a wax and a powder. To get her sharp, clean brows, first take an angled brush to trace out and define your natural brow shape using the wax. Go into sparse areas to fill them in, then set your brows using the powder. Blend well and finish up by brushing your brows with a spoolie.

4. Put a playful twist to a subtle brown halo with a touch of pink! Take a light tan shade all over the lid, then define the inner and outer edges with a darker brown. Sweep some pigment under the eye as well for more definition. Take a peachy coral shade and bring it to the outer edges of your eyes and blend outward. The goal here is to make the coral shade meet your blush later on—so don’t be scared to spread it out! Finish off the eyeshadow with some pearlescent shimmer on the center of your lids.

5. Though KC’s lashes look wispy at the ends, you can tell how voluminous they look at the base. To get this effect, I suggest this mascara from Maybelline! With its unique wavy bristles and volumizing collagen formulation, you can really build up the base for a deeper, fuller look. Swipe sideways and apply a few coats to the base first to build volume, then take the wand upward towards the ends of your lashes. If you need to separate some strands, take the want vertically and swipe upwards.

6. Many of us weren’t gifted with naturally long, lush lashes—and that’s okay! For those looking for that extra kick of glam, take these lashes from NYX and stick them on with lash adhesive. Tip for lash beginners: trim the edges to make sure it suits your eye shape and wait for the lash glue to become semi-dry before applying!

7. Warm up the edges of the face by taking this bronzer and blending it along the outer rims of the face into the hair line. Take some done the jawline and the hallows of your cheeks to define your bone structure.

8. Time for the main event! Take this gorgeous blush onto the high point of your cheekbones (not the apples!) and lightly sweep up until the temples! Build up color as desired and blend gently into your eyeshadow for a more seamless appearance.

9. When it comes to affordable yet blinding highlighters, Detail Makeover has nailed their formulation. Take this onto a fan brush and lightly (or heavily, if you prefer to compete with the sun on who can shine brighter) apply onto the high points of your face, namely the cheekbones, nose bridge, nose tip, brow bones, cupid’s bow, and chin.

10. Local brand, AboutFace, has come out with a super creamy moisturizing lip crayon especially made to suit Filipinas and we’re obsessed! Swipe this on and see how this richly pigmented lippie really smooths out your lips.
