Choosing the right moisturizer for your skin type is crucial for healthy and happy skin. But with so many different options in the market now, how can you tell which type will suit you?

CREAM

A cream moisturizer has a heavier and thicker consistency, which can be quite uncomfortable to wear on the skin with our humid climate. It is meant as a day moisturizer for people with very dry skin or if you live in a very cold weathered country. This is the best option instead if used as a night cream to be slathered on generously on your face before bed no matter where you live. The thick consistency guarantees that no matter how much you toss and turn at night, the majority of the moisturizer wont wipe off in your sleep.

OIL

Oil moisturizers are ideal for any skin type. It is a misconception that oil moisturizers are a no-no if you have oily or combination skin. As a matter of fact if you have oily skin your skin will be very happy with an oil-based moisturizer. A dry oil moisturizer can be used for day as long as you don’t over apply the product. This is also the ideal type of moisturizer perfect to use at night or if you prefer more natural and high quality ingredients as your moisturizer.

GEL

Gel moisturizers are perfect to use for the day as it guarantees a very light and comfortable feel on the skin especially in our warm country. Gel moisturizers are so lightweight they are the ideal choice for combination to oily skinned women.
