Don’t get me wrong. As a professional make up artist, I love wearing a full face of make up. I have no problems wearing a smokey eye or vampy lip to breakfast, but on most days, I roll out of bed at the very last minute and have 20 minutes to put myself together. On days like these, Maybelline White Superfresh does the trick. It takes the place of a foundation or tinted moisturizer. Three to five drops spread with your fingers, or buffing brush, is enough to cover the entire face. Its texture is very watery which makes it easy to spread and dries very quickly. It dries matte without having to set it with powder like you would with most other foundations. It also made my skin look brighter. At first, your face will look a little whiter than usual, but do not be alarmed – after a few minutes the color neutralizes making it look more natural. What impressed me the most was its staying power – eight hours later my skin did not get oily and the make up did not look cakey. The coverage is quite sheer, making it blend in with the skin seamlessly. If you have blemishes that need to be covered up, I suggest you add another layer on the problematic areas.
