Our lucky participants from Calyxta’s Beauty 101: Mobile Photography Workshop learned firsthand the techniques and tricks on how to take amazing photos with their smartphones. Jelito de Leon–who’s IG feed is filled with beautifully composed images–handled the first half of the workshop. Jelito shared how he started as an amateur photographer and honed his skill through a photography course in college. From using the correct angles, lighting, editing applications, etc; he covered an extensive array of topics in just two hours!
The second half of the mobile photography workshop was led by beauty expert and blogger Cat Juan Ledesma, who shared tips on social media branding. She explained how customers are becoming more and more tech-savvy and dependent on word of mouth that brands need to come up with creative ideas on how to attract customers without giving them the hard sell.
