5 Products in 2019’s Color of the Year

Pantone just released 2019’s Color of the Year, and unlike 2018’s Ultra Violet, next year’s color is a little bit lighter and brighter—Living Coral. In Pantone’s words, it’s “an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.” I love the vibrant yet mellow feel it gives, and how it provides a sort of familiar comfort. Personally, it reminds me of one of my favorite Japanese dishes—salmon sashimi. Or maybe that’s just me?

Either way, 2019 is sure to bring in a continual shift in our environment and with this nurturing color, we decided to list down a few of our favorite products that remind us of Living Coral!

A staple in my everyday bag, Glossier’s Cloud Paint in Beam easily gives a quick monochromatic look—especially for days I’m feeling lazy!

The perfect dupe for NARS’ Orgasm Blush, this baked powder blush from Milani can instantly give your cheeks a flush of color without it being too heavy on the wallet and your makeup kit.

Feels and looks like paradise on your lips, Dear Dahlia’s rich, creamy, and highly-pigmented formula has a satin finish and is infused with SPF to keep those puckers protected!

It’s hard to go wrong with this clump-free, non-cakey gradient blush—especially if you want to give your cheeks more depth, and a dimensional gradation look. Use your ring finger and add some on your lids for instant color!

A current office favorite, Hello Gorgeous’ Velveteen Liquid Lipstick in Fleek sets into a nice, velvety matte finish without the heavy, sticky feeling!
