Alyssa Valdez: Vintage Chick

Wear this simple and muted vintage look as seen on our April 2018 #CalyxtaGirl, Alyssa Valdez, and look effortlessly bronzed up and glowing for the summer!

1) This makeup look is very natural and simple, so make sure your base is flawless as possible. Achieve this by starting off with a primer like THE ORDINARY HIGH-ADHERENCE SILICONE PRIMER, P540, that mattifies skin, blurs pores and imperfections, and extends the wear of your makeup. Plus, this advanced and hardworking primer effectively controls oil and shine!

2) For a lightweight foundation, try THE ORDINARY SERUM FOUNDATION, P770, which gives you a medium-coverage, semi-matte finish that blends very naturally on skin just like Alyssa’s glowing and slightly bronzed up look.

3) This step is optional, but in case you have dark under eye circles which you wish to conceal, try the PINK SUGAR OUR LIL’ SECRET CONCEALER, P349. It’s a creamy concealer with medium to full coverage to seamlessly conceal those imperfections for a flawless and fresh finish.

4) Set everything in place to keep it from moving or melting throughout the day with the ROYALE BEAUTE SHEER PRESSED POWDER, P630. It’s a shine-free, sheer powder that gives an extra flawless finish.

5) Keep the makeup look simple by going for a bronzer instead of a strong contour. Try the W7 HOLLYWOOD BRONZE & GLOW, P399, for a nice, subtle bronze. Using the same palette, tap on the highlighting shade and apply on your cheekbones and nose bridge to get that highlighter on point!

6) Nothing too heavy on the brows, keep a natural look by just quickly taming and defining them with a clear brow gel like the RIMMEL LONDON BROW THIS WAY BROW CLEAR STYLING GEL, P350.

7) Finish your look off with your favorite nude-pink lippie. If you’re looking for a good pinkish nude, try the PINK SUGAR HD LIPSTICK in Butter, P299. It has a creamy formula that glides on effortlessly while giving you maximum color. Plus, it’s formulated with Vitamin E and Shea Butter to keep your lips soft and moisturized.
