2015 February Week 2

Lookbookfeb11STEP 1: If you have great skin, skip the foundation and opt for a tinted moisturizer. We love Urban Decay’s Naked Skin beauty Balm because not only does it have a hint of tint and hydrating properties, it also minimizes pores, offers anti-aging benefits and has an SPF of 20. Simply apply on face with your fingers or a foundation brush and set with loose powder.

STEP 2: Keep your eyes on the lighter side if you are going all out on your lip shade. The perfect neutral eye can be achieved with the Eve Pearl Eye Palette in Au Natural, a mix of matte and shimmer shades for that perfect no-make up look. Keep the deeper colors on the outer corners of your eyes and highlight the inner corners with the lightest shimmer shade.

STEP 3: Open up your eyes with va-va-voom lashes and groomed eye brows. We love Besame Cake Mascara in Black. If you have never used a cake mascara, now is the time to do so- it adds intense color and volume to your lashes to compliment your neutral eyes. You can also use it as an eyeliner just on the outer corner for a minimal cat eye.

STEP 4: A hint of tint on the cheeks will create a natural flush that compliments both light eyes and dark lips. Don’t go overboard, as you only want a hint of color for a healthy glow. We like Tarte Maracuja Blush & Glow Brightening Luminizer and Cheek Tint.

STEP 5: The star of the show here is your lipstick. Pick one with intense pigment and a long lasting formulation. Our favorite shade when we want to flaunt our lips is Besame’s Merlot, a deep wine-colored, long-wear lipstick that will surely turn heads.
