Today we’re testing Malissa Kiss The Super Black Ultra HD Eyeliner. The beloved Thai beauty brand claims to be the first ever ultra-high definition eyeliner that promises 24 hours of long-lasting sharpness. It also says that it can stay smudge-proof through heat, oil and sweat.
Our Graphic Artist, Ming, put it to the ULTIMATE EYELINER TEST! Let’s see what happens when Ming applies her cat-eye look at the start of her day and whether it will last through the night – including her boxing session at the gym!

WITHOUT EYELINER
APPLYING THE EYELINER (10:00 AM)
Ming: The felt pen has a really sharp tip, making it so much easier to create a precise wing. Although at first swipe, it wasn’t as black as I expected. So, I had to re-swipe for another layer to achieve the shade of black that I wanted.
WITH EYELINER
Ming: It dried off really quick! Unlike some eyeliner pens, it felt lightweight as if I wasn’t wearing any on despite coating it twice.
Ming: Although I haven’t done much since I applied it, at this point, I’ve gone outside the office twice to get some lunch across the street. So far, so good!
Ming: Just had our merienda break and had a couple of laughs with my officemates. Still staying strong despite the happy tears!
AT THE BOXING GYM (RIGHT BEFORE MY BOXING SESSION BEGINS)
Ming: So, after work, I went straight to the gym and dared to box with all my eyeliner glory still on! Now we’ll REALLY find out what this ultra high definition eyeliner is all about!
AFTER 3 HOURS OF BOXING
Ming: After all the jump rope, boxing, sparring, circuit, and weights, *drum roll please*… IT SURVIVED! Definitely sweat proof, that I can say. Although it did kind of melt a bit at the corner of my eyes when my eyes started to tear up. But, I didn’t get panda eyes! Hooray!
Review Summary:
Ming: I’m very big on eyeliners. My look is never complete without my signature wing. So I guess it’s safe to say that I’ve had my fair share when it comes to testing eyeliners. After putting the Malissa Kiss Super Black Ultra HD eyeliner to the test, I can honestly say that it is definitely one of the good ones I’ve tried. It withstood my sweaty boxing session at the gym, which says A LOT in terms of its longevity. For such an affordable price of P349, it certainly is a good quality eyeliner that I can surely recommend to everyone who is looking for an eyeliner that will last you the whole day without leaving you looking like a panda at the end of the day!
