There are girls who love lipstick and there are girls who love eye make up. I am an eyeliner- mascara girl myself and can’t step out of my house without perfectly lined eyes and a few coats of my favorite lash lengthening mascara. I’ve tried many eyeliners in my life, including all sorts of formulations, from gel to liquid to cake and kohl.
There are a few products that come around that totally make me forget about everything else in my make up kit, and my latest favorite find is the Nubian Brown Eye Pencil from Eye of Horus. I have been using black liner all my life but have been wanting to soften my look without sacrificing a fully done eye. Heaven sent me this wonderful eye pencil and I’ve been hooked since. It’s a perfect brown shade, that, when applied right on the lash line, in between the lashes and smudged, makes your eyelashes look super volumized and lush, and adds definition without the harsh look of black eyeliner. I usually apply just on the outer ends and smudge so the line is natural and blends in with my lash line, and then I follow with lining the outer lower lash line as well. Apply many, many coats of mascara and you will get the perfect doll eyes. People have commented that my eyes look huge when I do this look on myself.
Eye of Horus liners don’t smudge and are completely waterproof. I know this from experience when I got thrown into the pool on my birthday with all my make up on. I completely forgot and started rubbing water out of my eyes. To my surprise, my eye make up stayed on, and by the end of the day, it still looked good as new.
I totally recommend this product to those who always have problems with smudging eye liner and acidic skin. This will stay on until you want it out, and when you do, any make up remover will do the trick. Try the other colors too, for when you are feeling a little more sassy and want to make a statement, but for your everyday make up, Eye of Horus Eye Pencil in Nubian Brown is a must in your make up kit.
