Maximizing the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

By: Amanda Padilla

The Urban Decay Naked 3 palette has been a mainstay in my kit since it came out. I’m a huge fan of Urban Decay eyeshadows because they are so pigmented and they go on eyelids smoothly. Of all the Naked palettes, I feel like the 3 is a collection of the most wearable shades rosy shades. You know how sometime you buy an eyeshadow palette and use a couple of shades while the rest go on ignored? Well, this doesn’t have to happen here. Here’s a guide on how to maximize your palette by creating 3 completely different looks.

The Ingenue (A Day Look)

Step 1: Use Limit on the crease of your eyelid.

Step 2: Apply Dust on your eyelid, fill it in from the lash line up to where the shadow on your crease starts. Make sure colors are well blended

Step 3: Highlight the brow bone by putting Strange right below your eyebrow. You may use it on the inner corner of your eye as well.

Finish this look with lots of mascara and a baby pink lip.

The Movie Star (A Red Carpet Look)

Step 1: To add emphasis to your eyes, use Factory on the crease.

Step 2: Fill in the space under the crease with Trick.

Step 3: For more drama, apply Darkside along the upper and lower lash line.

Complete this look by adding false lashes and a glossy red lip.

The Siren (A Smokey Eye)

Step 1: Prep your entire eyelid by applying a thin layer of concealer. This makes the eyeshadow color pop while keeping it in place all night long.

Step 2: Cover the whole lid with Blackheart up to the crease.

Step 3: Use Mugshot as a blending color making sure that your makeup has no hard lines.

Finish off this look by using barely there foundation and matte nude.
