How to Use Eyeliner to Make Your Lashes Look Fuller

We all want fuller lashes and we often invest in every type of mascara under the sun in the hopes of achieving those fluttering eyes we all crave. But did you know that your eyeliner can actually help make your lashes look fuller as well? It’s a little trick called “tight-lining” and it’s something countless women swear by and I think it’s a trick every gal should have in her beauty arsenal. Here’s how:

Things you need:

1. Eye liner brush

2. Gel or powder eyeliner in black

Steps:

1. Coat eyeliner brush in a decent amount of product.

2. Lift your eyelid up gently with your finger

3. Angle the brush to go under your lash line and work your way from the outer corner in by gently pressing the brush to your skin.

4. The best technique I’ve found is to press, gently wiggle, then move on to the next area.

5. You can try dark brown for a softer look, but I’ve found that black really is the best for tight-lining.

I’ve learned that this works best as your last step to your eye makeup routine. That means you’ve already done your eye shadow and mascara. This is because the less blinking you do after tight-lining, the less chances you have of smudging up the rest of your look. Remember that practice makes perfect!
