As we ring in the year 2017, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to compile some of the best beauty trends that we predict will make a splash in the upcoming year, and tailor fitted them to your Zodiac sign. Read on for some insight on how to make your New Year your most gorgeous year yet.
The Air Signs
Aquarius (January 20 to February 18) – Pop of Peach
Key traits: Shy. Quiet. Individualistic. Intelligent.
A bit on the shy side, barely there makeup with a light pop of peach for color on lips and cheeks is the way to go. Low-key never looked so pretty.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20) – The Smokey Eye
Key traits: Smart. Affectionate. Represents two different personalities.
The smokey eye can be deliberately sexy and intensely tough at the same time. It is also a look that has stood the test of time. Get that kohl pencil liner and dark grey eyeshadow ready. Depending on your mood, you can be a red carpet starlet one minute, and a stage-ready rockstar in the next.
Libra (September 23 to October 22) – Sleek and Polished
Key traits: Tactful. Gracious. Diplomatic.
Fascinated with balance and symmetry, the Libra look is always put together with not a hair strand out of place. Add a string of pearls to complete the look.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20) – Pastel Lips

The bright pastels are perfect for the free spirited Pisces. It gives a fresh, ultra feminine vibe, perfect for frolicking at the beach or cocktails with the girls.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22) – White Eyeliner
Key traits: Tenacious. Sentimental. Compassionate and motherly.
White is a key color in the Cancer sign, and suits their motherly and compassionate nature. White eyeliner opens up the eyes and gives an instant “I slept for 8 hours last night” look. If lining the entire lid is too much, lining just the inner corners of your eyes works, too.
Scorpio (October 23 to November 21) – The Cat Eye
Key traits: Assertive. Resourceful. Brave.
Only the brave can pull off a serious cat eye. Heck, applying it alone takes a lot of guts and resourcefulness when making that perfect line. And year in year out, it never goes out of style. Practice makes perfect Scorpios, and this look is perfection on you.
The Fire Signs
Aries (March 21 to April 19) – Blush Draping

The passionate Aries lady can go dangerously fiery, in life and in her makeup look. This technique uses colors to highlight facial features rather than the usual contouring. If anyone can pull off the iconic red lip, it’s a Leo. Whether with a bare face or a fully made up one, this look works. A red lip instantly puts her in the limelight, and boy does she love it.
Sagittarius (November 22 to December 21) – Glitter Lips
Key traits: Generous. Energetic. Curious. Adventurous.
The adventurous Sagittarian is willing to experiment with bold looks. And what is bolder than splashing sparkly glitter on your lips? And don’t worry, it’s not that hard to apply. Since glitter is meant to look messy, placement doesn’t matter that much. Seal it in with lipgloss and pucker up!
The Earth Signs
Taurus (April 20 to May 20) – The Clean Face
