4 Trendy Halloween Makeup Looks to Wear

PATCH-‘WERK’

Get yourself together and map out different, uneven sections on your face and draw lines using the Maybelline Hypersharp Liner Power Black. The more uneven and irregularly shaped the sections, the better. Using a shadow brush, fill in those sections with different colors from the Rimmel London Magnif’eyes Shadow in Rainbow.

Try to stick to the purple, green, and orange shades to mimic a corpse-y or zombie aesthetic. Go over the lines you drew earlier with the same liner and make them a little thicker, then draw cross-shaped stitches along all the lines. Lastly, use fake blood or a dark red, glossy lipstick and make it ‘bleed out’ from the lines and fake stitches with a small, precise brush.

‘ORANGE’ YOU GLAD IT’S HALLOWEEN?

For a more subtle but still fun Halloween look, sweep the shade “Tangerine Silver Shimmer” from the Paprika Matte and Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette all over lids and just underneath your eyes. Push the color up towards the brows if desired, then soften any harsh edges with a clean, fluffy shadow brush.

Next, neatly line your lids with the L’Oreal Super Liner Flash Cat Eye, stopping just before you reach the outer corner. Instead of a classic wing, draw uneven Jack-O’-Lantern teeth outwards, ending it with a precise point. Finally, just above the teeth, draw three, small triangles for the Jack-O’-Lantern’s ‘eyes’ and ‘nose’.

WHATTA’ DOLL!

Get ready to invade the dream house by sweeping the shade “Crystal” from the Hello Gorgeous Mermaid Cult Eyeshadow Palette in ‘Off The Shore’ all over your lids. Don’t soften or blend any edges just yet. Instead, create a cut crease by lining just the crease with the shade “Coral Pink” using a precise, angled liner or eyebrow brush.

Line underneath the bottom waterline with the same shade. With a small, fluffy shadow brush, apply the shade “Wine” with a light hand just above that cut crease and more towards the outer edge. Use small, circular motions and soften any edges with another clean, shadow brush. Then line eyes, creating a classic cat eye, and finish off with a pair of Hello Gorgeous Magnet-oh! Lashes and a bright, pink Barbie-esque lipstick.

MER-MAIDEN

Cut out sections of fishnet stockings with medium to large sized holes and freely position it on various parts of your face, like your forehead, cheek, and along your jawline. While keeping the fishnet still and pressed flat, generously brush on a pigmented, shimmery highlighter like the Detail Makeover Baked Highlighter in “Caramel Glaze” and “Vanilla Cake”.

Layer or blend the colors together over the fishnet before carefully pulling the fishnet away. Apply the same highlighter shades to eyes with a shadow brush and soften any edges. Next, brush through brows with a clear brow gel and while it’s still wet/tacky, press on loose, gold glitter along your brows with your ring finger. Finally, keep lips more sweet and subtle with a nude shade like the Painted Cosmetics Lightweight Matte Liquid Lipstick in “Beach.”
