Oatmeal and Shea Butter Body Wash and Body Lotion

I have been using the St. Ives Oatmeal and Shea Butter Body Wash and Body Lotion combo for a few weeks now and I am loving it! It is infused with natural super foods such as oatmeal and shea butter, flooding the skin with a lot of moisture and vitamins. Oatmeal and shea butter both contain antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties which protect our skin from the damage of UV rays, and treat a variety of skin disorders and irritation.

I have sensitive skin, so the body wash I was using prior to this one would sometimes irritate my skin. I would get tiny itchy patches that would eventually disappear after a while—but ever since switching to St. Ives, I haven’t experienced that problem anymore, thanks to the benefits of oatmeal and shea butter! It really calmed my skin and made it softer and smoother; even my daughter who often rubs her face against my skin noticed how my skin feels extra soft!

In choosing my bath products, I always opt to go natural or at least check if they are paraben-free. When I checked the label, I was happy to read that these products are made with 100% natural extracts, dermatologist tested, and indeed paraben-free. The scent is fresh and lovely, nothing too overwhelming.  I will definitely continue using St. Ives products and restock when I run out!

St. Ives Face Blemish Control Apricot Scrub

I like how the St. Ives Face Blemish Control Apricot Scrub exfoliates my skin. It contains tiny specks of walnut shell powder and corn kernel which sloughs off dead skin thoroughly. It is also oil-free, paraben-free, hypoallergenic, and dermatologist tested. A key ingredient in the St. Ives Face Blemish Control Apricot Scrub is the salicylic acid which helps unclog pores and heal blemishes—good for those who experience minor breakouts from time to time.  I use the scrub every other day for deep cleansing, and I love how my face feels right after—fresh and soft!
