Creative French Nails to Wear to Your Wedding

The French Tip manicure is possibly the most popular nail look to date but just as with everything else in beauty, it has slowly morphed into a number of looks from sublime to adventurous in the last couple of months. The purpose is the same: line the tips with a different hue, but the colors and techniques to be used have now become so creative, it really has become wonderful eye candy. Here are some of the more notable looks in our book, and unconventional tips you might want to wear to your wedding!

Tone on Tone

Suggested Product: Orly’s Matte Top, P499.75

Whether you’re using black or nude, the purpose here is to update your usual single colored mani to one that’s more modern with just a swipe of a shiny or matte top coat. To get this look, choose a hue, apply all over your nail, then, depending on which part you’d like shiny or matte, apply the finishing coat accordingly. Wouldn’t it look delightful to match your nails with the color theme of your entourage?

Neon Sign

Bare nails have always been on-trend no matter what the season. The only difference between last season’s au naturel-looking tips and this season’s is that today’s look requires a new neutral: gray. Pair it with a swipe of neon (pink or yellow will look especially cute against a gray base), and you’ve got yourself a winning combo. The unexpected pop of color is what makes this one of the most adventurous takes on the classic ol’ French mani. Another interesting technique is to refrain from applying the neon hue as you would regularly. Use a slightly angled approach to get edgier, more
modern-looking tips. This is definitely perfect for the more unconventional bride.

Nude and Black

A perfect demonstration of opposites attracting one another-the stark contrast between nude and black make for the perfect graphic statement on your nails. It’s important to take into consideration though that this particular look is a bit more difficult to execute as the black tip must be perfectly executed since it’s painted across a nude base, and every stroke will be highly noticeable. For this, it’s best to visit your favorite nail salon a few days before your wedding.
