But the truth is most of us need a hand from the makeup department to achieve this totally natural, effortless look. Thankfully, there are a lot of great products available which help make getting the no-makeup look a cinch.

Girlactik Beauty’s Skin Tint Moisturizer is a wonderful everyday product for people who want to have a simple makeup routine. Don’t have the time to spend 30 minutes doing your face in the morning? This product is for you. Hate the look of cakey foundation? Give Girlactik a go. Never wear makeup but want to start? Try this. A pea-sized amount of product is enough to cover your face and neck. Spread the tinted moisturizer all over the face and neck with your fingers. Try to stay away from sponges, they suck in so much product which makes it the least economical way to put on makeup. You’ll have an empty tube before you know it.

I love that the product goes on evenly, makeup streaks are not a problem. Girlactick Beauty Skin Tint Moisturizer has light coverage making it a good choice for the summer. Immediately after spreading it on my skin I noticed it had a dewy, glowing finish, a look I’m always trying to go for. If you wanted more coverage, I recommend that you go over the parts in your skin that need a bit more help with concealer. Use a fine-tipped synthetic brush and apply to targeted areas sparingly—this will keep your skin looking dewy. Girlactik Skin Tint Moisturizer has a very mild, pleasant rose smell making me feel like im starting the day with a mini-spa treatment.

Product Review: Glamglow Youthmud

GlamGlow has set the beauty world abuzz. Their mud masques have been a longtime Hollywood secret for actors who need to add oomph to their lackluster skin. With beauty junkies now into this industry secret, GlamGlow Youthmud™ has obtained cult status.

When it comes to this product, you truly get what you pay for. It is a cocktail made of the highest quality ingredients. Youthmud™ has green tea (there are actual green tea leaves mixed in the mud) which helps with oil control and brightens the skin, pulverized volcanic rock which draws out impurities and toxins, and French sea clay which is an anti-inflammatory that evens out redness and helps stimulate blood circulation.

I applied a quarter-sized amount of Youthmud™ to my freshly washed face and left it on for ten minutes. The masque turned a light grey color as it dried. Then I noticed it started to have darker patches around my nose and t-zone area. The clay was actually drawing out excess oil from my skin! When my time was up, I gently washed it off using a circular motion paying more attention to my nose area and rough patches on my skin. Youthmud™ has a sandy texture because of the volcanic rock. I love this because it has a bonus feature of being a professional quality skin exfoliant as well.

The improvements in my skin were immediate. I noticed that all my pores were visibly smaller. My skin looked brighter and the tone was more even. And my skin felt as soft as it would after having a diamond peel. I did not break out the next day, which sometimes happens when I use a clay masque.

As soon as my supply is out, I’m going online and ordering a new one.
