Product Review: Pixi Glow Mist

By: Amanda Padilla

Let me introduce you to a product that I have been keeping in my purse all summer, Pixi Glow Mist. Prior to this, I was never a fan of facial mists, I just didn’t see the point. Yes, it felt nice when used but the water dried out my face. Pixi Glow Mist stands out from other similar products because it is infused with natural oils such as argan, olive and avocado oil making it hydrate skin beautifully. It also contains aloe vera which is extremely calming and soothing for the skin.

I use this product in a few different ways. The first is I incorporated it in my daily skincare routine. I have really dry skin that is always looking for extra hydration in any way it can find it. My skincare regimen is, I’ll admit, extremely involved. I use a toner, a few serums, eye cream, moisturizer- you name it. Even so, I wake up in the morning and my skin feels a little on the dry side. I’ve found that layered hydration is a great way of locking moisture in the skin. I use a light spritz of Pixi Glow Mist right before applying moisturizer and my skin has been loving the results.

If my facebook feed is any indication, I would say that most of us have been living outdoors, hitting one beach after the other this summer. Tanned skin looks best when it glows but unfortunately, exposure to sun and salt-water can leave skin looking dry. Spray a generous amount of Pixi Glow Mist on your face to get that J.Lo glow instantly.

The last way I use Pixi Glow Mist is as a make up setting spray on myself and on my clients. In tropical weather, the only way to get make up to last is to set your make up with a ton of loose powder. If you skip this step, your make up slides off the moment you walk out the door. The caveat is that all this powder makes your make up look chalky. Pixi Glow Mist is the perfect solution for this problem – it makes well set foundation look like skin in just moments.
