Summer has begun! Do you notice your make up melting away in this heat and humidity? It’s the perfect weather for me to try out L’Oreal’s Infallible Pro-Spray & Set Make up Extender Spray.
I applied a full face of make up and before I made my way out the door, I spritzed some of the setting spray on in an X motion as indicated on the bottle. It is described as a light mist however, the spray settled on quite wet, though it wasn’t an unpleasant feeling. I just left it to dry without touching and since it’s an oil free formula, it evaporated pretty quickly.
The first thing I noticed is it took away the “powdery” look of my make up and made my skin appear more dewy. At work, I didn’t need to retouch my make up except for lightly powdering my T-zone. There were even several times I found myself rubbing my face and cheeks (I used a crème blush) but my make up didn’t smudge or smear.
When I got home after working on a shoot and running errands in the mall, my face looked almost as fresh as when I had left at 8am that morning. My eye colour and blush were still clean and bright – even my khol liner hadn’t smudged! What I liked best about this product is it kept my foundation from settling into my laugh lines (which always happens when I have make up on for several hours).
I would definitely keep this product in my kit.
