K-Beauty lines have always intrigued me. The Korean techniques in makeup and the skin care regimen they follow are quite different but utterly effective. Thus, it’s not a huge surprise why It’s Skin Power 10, a K-Beauty brand of serums, is catching the attention of beauty bloggers and magazine editors. These nifty bottles of powerful anti-oxidants give the skin that much-needed boost without hurting the bank account.
Just recently, I was introduced to one of their more popular serums: the It’s Skin Power 10 Formula Co Effector, P599. This is a thick serum made with phyto collagen that helps diminish fine lines, provide moisture, and return plumpness to skin.
The first thing I noticed when I opened the bottle was that it’s a thick cloudy formula that is cool to the skin upon initial application. I recommend that you place it on dry clean skin once a day, preferably at night when it can do its work without any hindrance.
Overall, here are my thoughts about this skin care serum:
I placed three drops on the palm of my hands, and gently patted the serum on my clean face. It has a light pleasant fragrance that also faded away after a few seconds. The touch of the serum initially felt tacky and shiny, but dried quite quickly. Woke up the next day to calmer and smoother skin. I can say that I was impressed!
Continued to use this every night for the next three days, and I increased the quantity to five drops so I’d have enough for my neck and upper chest, too. It’s important to give those areas some love, you know. So far, no breakouts, and I still wake up to nicer looking skin every morning.
I’ve continued to increase the drops since I also began to use the serum for my hands – it’s the body part that is often neglected, and also the most prone to aging because of all work it does.
After a week of using it, I can say that I will happily continue using this serum till I finish the end of its cute bottle. The It’s Skin Power 10 Co Effector doesn’t cause me any breakout, and makes my skin look dewier during the day. I’m now excited to see what the other It’s Skin serums can do for me.
