Tony Moly is a Korean-based cosmetic brand founded in 2006. The brand’s name translates to “nice and trendy”, which makes perfect sense since they are known for their adorable looking products and affordable price points.
I was asked to review their Snail Eye Mask, an under eye treatment which has nothing to do with snails and more to do with viper snakes. You heard right, this eye treatment uses the peptide found in viper snake venom to tighten and soothe your under eye area giving you a more refreshed look. Here are my thoughts.
Pros:
- The mask is cool and refreshing on the skin
- Doesn’t have a strong scent
- It’s incredibly moisturizing
- Fine lines under my eyes disappeared for the day
- It helps your under eye concealer stay on longer
- Puffiness diminished too.
Cons:
- Results are temporary.
- Effectiveness depends on how often you are willing to use the mask in a week.
Conclusion:
If you’ve been combatting dry skin under your eyes with fine lines, this is a great mask to have handy in case you have a big event coming up. I recommend giving it a try and splurging just a little bit to make you look like you just came back from a long vacation.
