Model Behavior: Supermodel Tips on Travel and Makeup

We’ve scoured the web, and found the best travel makeup tips from our fave runway girls. Know their makeup secrets and the goodies they bring as they travel the world. Learn from these gorgeous women that are always on the go!

Kendall Jenner

“I’m cool to go makeup free, but when I travel, usually to make myself feel better, I’ll throw on a light foundation and some mascara. Also, if I’m going to wear a bright-colored lip, it’ll most likely be a red—a reddish orange, to be exact.”

Our pick: L’Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation, P900 (now at P630 only)

Gigi Hadid

“My airport look is definitely foundation, bronzer, and mascara. If I wear lipstick, I go for the more nude-ish tones. I think Bella (Hadid, my sister) and I have faces that if you put too much makeup on them, and they aren’t done by a pro artist, they tend to look drag.”

Our pick: Maybelline Volume Express Hypercurl, P199

Bella Hadid

A little contour along her cheekbones as well as underneath her chin is Bella’s tried and tested tip. “When I’m traveling, there’s a tendency for me to look tired and for my face to drop, so I like to use a bit of matte bronzing powder for a little definition,” she says.

After that, she applies highlighter and a quick brow fill-in, two coats of mascara (lengthening primer is a must) and finally, her eye-opening tip—she puts a shimmering gold eye shadow not just over her eyelids, but also in the inner corners. “It opens your eyes a little bit,” she says.

Our pick: Milk Makeup Matte Bronzer, P1,750

Cara Delevingne

Eyes can look majorly tired, especially after catching a red eye flight. Cara swears by tracing her top waterline with a dark brown pencil, “but not the bottom,” she warned. “It makes my eyes look too small.”

Our pick: Kat Von D Tattoo Liner, P1,400

Karlie Kloss

Karlie’s supermodel status means she gets her hair and makeup done quite a bit when she’s working so on days off, when she’s traveling, she likes to keep her beauty regimen very simple. “I cleanse and moisturize my skin. For makeup, I just use a BB cream, a bit of cream blush, a swipe of liquid liner, a flick of mascara, and I’m good to go. This literally takes six minutes flat,” she shares.

Our Pick:  Dr. Jart+ Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45, P2,989
