There’s only one color that can make teeth look white: the color blue. Blue gives the illusion of cancelling out any yellow undertones in the skin and, when worn on the lips, has the same effect on the teeth. Think of it as a live Photoshop session where having more of one color cancels out the other. The number one product in the market right now is Lipstick Queen’s “Hello Sailor” blue lip gloss. It’s a universally flattering shade of blue, which morphs into a flattering pinky mauve with blue shimmer that makes the teeth and whites of the eyes seem whiter.
Remember when Kylie Jenner and her blue lips were all the rage? That’s the lipstick version from the same brand that makes this lip gloss. If you don’t have access to this product, you can choose any pink or red lipstick with a blue-colored base. Stay away from oranges, browns and reds that are orange-y because these will make your teeth and eyes appear more yellow.
